Habits
Build a workout habit on a busy schedule
Choose a reliable cue and give yourself a shorter option on crowded days.
Pick a cue you already have
A cue is something that already happens, like closing your laptop after work. Pair it with opening your workout for the day. Choose a cue that happens at a time when you can usually spare a few minutes.
Decide on a shorter option
For a full day, pick a short routine in advance. Keep the choice simple so you don’t spend the time you set aside scrolling through the library.
Use progress to notice patterns
Look back at your completed sessions at the end of the week. Which time was easiest to keep? Move next week’s sessions closer to the times that worked for you.
Resume after a missed day
If a planned session slips, choose the next available slot. A flexible routine can absorb travel, work, and rest days without needing a complete reset.
